[Waco, TX] – The Carlson Law Firm is proud to announce its 2026 Carry Confidence into the Classroom Backpack Giveaway in Waco on July 18, starting at 10 a.m. at the firm’s Waco office located at 2420 I-35 S, Waco, Texas 76706.
As part of Carlson Cares, the charitable initiative of The Calson Law Firm, this free community event will provide children with brand-new backpacks to help them begin the school year ready to learn.
In addition to free backpacks, families can enjoy bouncy houses, Kona Ice, giveaways and other exciting activities. The Backpack Giveaway event reflects Carlson Cares’ commitment to investing in local students and helping every child start the school year with confidence.
“Preparing for the kids to go back to school can be expensive and stressful for parents, and we hope this event helps ease some of that burden,” said Casey Cochran, attorney at The Carlson Law Firm’s Waco office. “Our annual backpack giveaway is one way we can give back to the local families and support the community that has supported us over the years.”
The Carlson Law Firm will be distributing free clear backpacks that are compliant with the Waco Independent School District’s guidelines. Each backpack will be packed with the following school supplies:
- Scissors
- Pencils
- Glue
- Markers
- Crayons
- Notebooks
- Portfolios
Backpacks will be distributed while supplies last. There will be a limit of three backpacks per family, and children must be present to receive a backpack.
