Carlson Cares gives back to those in our direct communities by stepping out to volunteer and hosting a Party With A Purpose. All of our Carlson Law Firm locations host an annual Party With a Purpose, a free community event that gives back to those around us. For this year’s Temple Party With a Purpose, we showcased a Boo-tastic Fall Festival, including a Trunk or Treat, our local police and fire department, as well as some amazing vendors and treats!
Giving back is always in season.
Although the weather in Texas doesn’t always make Fall feel like the typical season, we still wanted to put on an event that showcased the time of year! Carlson Cares worked alongside Feed My Sheep to give back to those in the community through donations. Feed My Sheep is a social service organization that allows those in need to get food and necessities in the area. Carlson Cares not only encouraged the community to provide donations, but we also ensured Feed My Sheep did not leave empty-handed without providing cans, water bottles and more items.
Ghosts, Witches, Goblins….and Spider-Man?
A Fall Festival CAN’T just be about the candy! During our Temple Party With A Purpose, we ensured all families and attendees had something to do for all ages! We had everything from grabbing a free tasty bundt cake to decorating a miniature pumpkin and a coloring contest! Community members of all ages had a blast dressing up and also taking advantage of the beautiful balloon arch backdrop to capture the moment. Spider-Man, Aliens and Cowgirls? We had it all.
“Seeing all the people show up and having fun,” Temple Partner Julie Peschel said. “The DJ was great, the photo area was nice, the cops and fire truck were nice, having snacks and snow cones was great, and I loved everyone’s creative trunks.”
Sweet Tooth, Anyone?
Not into the lollypops and Air Heads? We’ve got you covered! Bundt Cakes, Kona Ice, and of course, you must add a salty snack. We are so thankful for our providers who came with their decorated trunks and provided snacks and treats for all who attended.
Hula hoop your way into fall
Game Break! Everyone had something they could enjoy, including hula hoops, washers and corn hole.
“Several people took the time to say thank you for doing the event and for all we do,” Peschel said. I even had some previous clients show up, which was great. The games in the middle were also a hit—[I] loved seeing the kids hula hooping and playing bean bags. “
