The Carlson Law Firm Gears Up to Serve Hundreds of Area Students Ahead of 24-25 School Year

WACO, Texas — Waco area students are invited to the 4th annual Great Waco Backpacks Giveaway 2024 at The Carlson Law Firm from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 12 at the firm’s Waco office, at 2420 I-35 S. 

“We are thrilled to host this event for the fourth year,” said attorney Dominic Braus. “Education is the cornerstone of a thriving community, and we are committed to supporting students. Every year, the goal is to do better than last year and with the headstart we’ve gotten, we’re on pace to serve a record number of students this year.”

The firm’s Waco staff anticipates giving away at least 350 backpacks compliant with WISD requirements to Waco area students. The backpacks will be filled with the following supplies: 

  • Folders (4)
  • Composition notebooks (4)
  • Spiral notebooks (3)
  • Glue sticks (2)
  • Pack of paper (1)
  • Scissors (1 pair)
  • Markers (1-10ct pack)
  • Pencils (1-12ct pack)
  • Colored pencils (1-12ct pack)
  • Crayons (1 box)
  • Erasers

*There will be a limit of 3 backpacks per family, while supplies last. Children must be present to receive a backpack.

Free Kona Ice, Toda Madre Cravings mini pancakes, games and prizes will also be available for attendees to enjoy at the Waco Backpacks Giveaway 2024.
