Laredo: Three Kings Day Toy Giveaway (January)

In January, the Laredo office of The Carlson Law Firm warmly embraced the spirit of giving by hosting a Three Kings Day toy giveaway. Held at their local office, the event saw the distribution of 150 toy bags to delighted children between the ages of 1-12. The festive atmosphere was further elevated by the presence of Ozo from El Show de Ozo Campos, making it a memorable day for the community. Ensuring every child left with a smile, the firm emphasized the importance of giving, especially during the holiday season.

Killeen: Car Seat Safety Inspection (March)

The Killeen office of The Carlson Law Firm, in collaboration with Texas A&M AgriLife, made a significant contribution to road safety in March. They organized a free car seat safety inspection event, highlighting the often-overlooked issue of car seat installation and usage. The event, which also featured games, prizes, and cupcakes, not only educated parents on car seat safety but also provided a fun-filled day for families. This initiative underscored the firm’s commitment to the well-being and safety of the community’s youngest members.

Baytown: Reading with Reels Family Night (March)

In March, the Baytown office of The Carlson Law Firm combined entertainment and education in their ‘Reading with Reels Family Night.’ Families gathered for a special screening of the family-friendly movie, “Matilda,” and received complimentary copies of the book. The event, which included a coloring contest and Kona Ice concessions, provided a unique opportunity for families to bond over a movie and the joy of reading, fostering a love for literature among the younger participants.

Waco: Backpack Giveaway (July)

July saw the Waco office of The Carlson Law Firm hosting a ‘Party with a Purpose,’ where they gave away backpacks filled with school supplies. This event was particularly significant as it prepared children for the upcoming school year. The giveaway, which was accompanied by live broadcasting from The Beat 94.5, free snow cones, games, and prizes, not only equipped children with essential school items but also offered a day of fun and excitement. The firm’s efforts in this event highlighted their dedication to education and supporting the academic journey of young students in their community.

Temple: Fall Festival (October)

In October, The Carlson Law Firm in Temple hosted a Fall Festival to bring some spooky fun to the community. Featuring a Trunk-or-Treat, free Kona Ice, and bundt cakes, there were plenty of sweet treats to go around. In addition, the staff in Temple provided games, prizes, and giveaways for attendees to enjoy. To further give back to the community, the event hosted a food drive for Feed My Sheep, a local food bank in Temple. All who donated to Feed My Sheep received a free pumpkin to decorate at the event. Combining free fun with charitable giving is what these Parties with a Purpose are all about, and Temple’s Fall Festival was no exception.

Round Rock: Thanksgiving in a Basket Giveaway (November)

The Carlson Law Firm’s Round Rock office held a successful Thanksgiving in a Basket giveaway in November. The firm provided 140 Thanksgiving baskets to area families, ensuring a warm and joyful celebration. Each basket, also including an insulated tote and reusable food container, was thoughtfully packed with all the essential fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, including items like canned vegetables, stuffing, mashed potatoes, a pie crust, a can of pumpkin, and a $30 HEB gift card for purchasing a turkey, rolls and other holiday items. The holidays can be challenging for many families, and The Carlson Law Firm’s goal was to alleviate some of that pressure and spread some holiday cheer.

North Austin: Bear Fair (November)

The Carlson Law Firm in North Austin held the office’s first-ever Bear Fair in November. The Bear Fair provided a way for members of the Austin community to drop off donations for Operation Blue Santa, a program that delivers Christmas gifts to thousands of children in need in the city of Austin. Families and children who attended the Bear Fair received a free, customizable stuffed animal, as well as other fun items to enjoy such as bouncy balls, travel blankets, mugs, and banana bread. The Bear Fair allowed The Carlson Law Firm to give back to the community in a meaningful way, not only by giving out free stuffed animals to children in the community, but also by gathering support for an organization that benefitted five thousand families this Christmas.

Killeen: Veterans Food Truck Rally (November)

As Veterans Day approached, The Carlson Law Firm in Killeen hosted its 7th Annual Veterans Food Truck Rally. The Killeen staff volunteered and welcomed over 400 active duty and retired military personnel. As a thank-you for their dedication to our country, all attendees of the Veterans Food Truck Rally received a free lunch from one of the six food trucks at the Rally, as well as free coffee, cupcakes, and swag bags. This event is dear to the hearts of staff at The Carlson Law Firm, as many of them have served in the military themselves. It is a pleasure to give back to those who have made sacrifices to defend and protect our nation.

Killeen: Food Care Center (November)

In November, The Carlson Law Firm was happy to volunteer with the Food Care Center located in Killeen, the hometown of the firm’s principal office. The Food Care Center is one of Killeen’s biggest providers of resources to individuals, families, organizations, churches, and community service workers. The Carlson Law Firm strives to meet needs, not only in the office but also in the community. Recognizing the importance of caring for the community with kindness, The Carlson Law Firm joined the Food Care Center and provided gift cards, kids’ toys, beanies, gloves, chapsticks, socks, and blankets to meet the needs of over 200 people in the Killeen community.

Austin, Bryan: Carlson’s Christmas Miracle (November)

As the holiday season began, The Carlson Law Firm held its 6th Annual Carlson’s Christmas Miracle. Knowing that the holidays can be particularly difficult for some families, the firm’s staff wanted to show how they care by putting smiles on the faces of these families during the holiday season. After receiving hundreds of nominations, the firm selected two resilient families to gift a Christmas Miracle. One of the Christmas Miracle recipients, Bridget, was nominated by her coworker, Tracey. Bridget is a hard-working mother of six children who works in a nursing facility as a caregiver in Bryan. Tracey knew that Bridget was too humble to ask for help when she needed it, so she nominated her for Carlson’s Christmas Miracle. The second Christmas Miracle recipient was nominated by her teenage daughter, Mia in Austin. After seeing her mother’s tireless efforts and family hardships, Mia’s wish was for her mother to not have to worry about Christmas this year. The Carlson Law Firm was able to fulfill both Mia’s and Bridget’s needs this Christmas. Both families were gifted essential items, rental assistance, warm clothing, and gifts under the tree. Carlson’s Christmas Miracle is one of the most important and fulfilling endeavors the firm undertakes every year, as it is the embodiment of The Carlson Law Firm’s belief that caring is the greatest gift we can give.

Lubbock: Santa Carlson’s Toys-to-Go Giveaway (December)

In December, The Carlson Law Firm in Lubbock hosted Santa Carlson’s Toys-to-Go, a drive-thru toy giveaway. Joined by Santa, The Grinch, and Carl the Carlson Care Bear, Lubbock staff wrapped and handed out hundreds of presents to families who lined up for the event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In total, The Carlson Law Firm gave away 500 wrapped gifts to children in the Lubbock community, ensuring that they would have something under the tree to unwrap on Christmas morning. Santa Carlson’s Toys-to-Go was one of many holiday events aimed at spreading holiday cheer to families in need, emphasizing The Carlson Law Firm’s commitment to caring for its communities all across Texas.
