The Carlson Law Firm is thrilled to announce the two recipients of the 2024 Carlson Cares Scholarship. Two outstanding students, Aalaynah Harris, and Carson Woods were selected among over 550 applicants to receive $2,500.

Harris, who will be attending St. Edward’s University, and Woods, who will be attending Texas Tech, stood out due to their passionate academic rigor and community involvement.

“The Carlson Law Firm is honored to support these exceptional students and is inspired by the dedication and enthusiasm demonstrated by all applicants,” said Lisa Griffin, Chief Operating Officer at The Carlson Law Firm.

In addition to the main scholarships awarded, six runners-up were selected to be recognized for their  dedication to academics and community involvement. Among these runners-up are Azailia Tapia, Madison Frantzen, Brandie Phillips, Guadalupe Ventura, Katrin Chonkowsky, and Allee Hamilton.

“The future is bright with such motivated and engaged young individuals, and we are excited to see where their journeys will take them,” said Griffin.

2024 marks the fifth year The Carlson Law Firm has distributed the Carlson Cares Scholarship. This scholarship was created to celebrate and recognize remarkable students – particularly ones who practice care in their communities.
