KILLEEN, TX- The Carlson Law Firm is excited to announce that we will give away a $2,500 classroom makeover to a deserving Texas teacher. To qualify, you must be a Texas teacher at a K-12 school for the 2022-2023 school year. 

The firm will select one deserving Texas teacher for this giveaway as part of its #howicare initiative in 2022. According to a survey by Adopt a Classroom, teachers spend an average of $750 out of pocket on classroom supplies and spending continually increases. In addition, some teachers are purchasing personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies for their classrooms to help efforts combating COVID-19. 

“Teachers across the nation have one of the most important jobs,” Carlson Law Firm managing partner Craig Carlson said. “ Success begins in the classroom, and we want to help with that mission.”

To qualify, an individual must:

  • Be a Texas teacher 
  • Teaching at a K-12 school
  • Must be teaching in a Texas school 2022-2023 school year
  • Must submit only one entry through the contest form 

Entry must be submitted online starting June 27, and ending on July 15. No purchase is necessary to participate in the giveaway. Individuals with eligibility can visit carlsonattorneys.com/classroom-makeover to submit an entry and must be 18 years of age by the time of the entry. The winner will be notified on July 20. 

“We hope through this effort it will help support the teacher’s mission of continuing to enrich the lives of children,” Carlson said. “When the pandemic hit us, all students faced challenging, yet new methods in their learning and development, and teachers are still doing all they can to catch students up. We want to show our firm’s appreciation and support for all that they do.”
